Duties
- Assist attorneys with case management, including organizing client files and maintaining case calendars using legal case management systems.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, discovery requests, and settlement agreements related to family law matters.
- Conduct legal research on family law statutes, regulations, and relevant case law to support case development.
- Interview clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases.
- Manage document review processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all case-related materials.
- Coordinate court filings and ensure compliance with procedural rules; handle filing via electronic systems when applicable.
- Provide administrative support such as data entry, scheduling appointments, answering phone inquiries with professionalism, and maintaining organized filing systems.
Qualifications
- Proven paralegal experience with a focus on family law or related legal areas.
- Strong knowledge of legal research tools such as LexisNexis.
- Familiarity with legal administrative software, including Clio and Outlook.
- Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Experience with legal case management software and electronic filing procedures.
- Exceptional interviewing skills combined with professional phone etiquette.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
