Fast Food Cook

We are currently looking for reliable and motivated Fast Food Cooks to join our team at Pizza Club location in Albany. As a Kitchen Cook, you will play a vital role in the preparation and service of our menu offerings. Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Minimum Hours of Work: 30 hours per week
Hourly Rate: Minimum $23.50 and Maximum $25.00
Pay Frequency: Weekly

• Taking and serving food and beverage orders, and receiving payments from customers

• Preparing fast food items such as hamburgers, pizzas, chips and other menu items

• Washing, cutting, measuring, and mixing ingredients for cooking

• Operating cooking equipment including grills, microwaves, and deep-fat fryers

• Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils

• Ordering and receiving deliveries of fast food ingredients

• May assist in arranging delivery of prepared food and beverages

• Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

• Collaborating with team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations

The right candidates will:

• Be available for full time work - minimum 30 hours and maximum 45 hours
• Be RELIABLE and PUNCTUAL
• Have the flexibility to work rostered shifts. Have the ability to work late nights and over the weekend as required
• Be able to provide a clear drug test/medical check and clean police record if required
• Be fit to enough to lift upto 20 kgs
• Understand and work in a manner that ensures health and safety, and food hygiene compliance is maintained at all times
• No education qualifications required for this role. However, a relevant qualification + the right attitude in lieu of work experience will be considered a plus!
• No experience as a fast food cook required. However, a relevant experience in a similar role with solid understanding of food safety, ingredients, and food presentation techniques will be considered a plus!
