Fast Food Cook

Position: Fast Food Cook (2 Vacancies)
Location: Ashburton, Canterbury
Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week (Full-time Role)
Pay Rate: $24 – $30 per hour (based on experience)

We are currently seeking 2 enthusiastic and reliable Fast-Food Cooks to join our team in Canterbury. This is a rostered position, and flexibility with shifts is essential. A minimum of 30 hours per week will be guaranteed, with the potential for additional hours depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, take orders, and process payments accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and cook a range of fast-food items using grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment
• Wash, cut, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes and standards
• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment, including sanitizing work surfaces and utensils
• Package food items for takeaway or delivery
• Assist with deliveries when required

• A strong team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours, including weekends and evenings
• Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not essential
• Ministry of justice check and pre employment drug test is required.
