The internship

In this internship, you will be part of the Business Controlling function within our Finance team at Red Stripe. The team supports the delivery of challenging OpCo financial and non-financial targets within an effective and robust financial control environment.

We are looking for an individual with a creative mindset and can-do mentality that will support our team in improving finance processes, diverse projects and give the team ad-hoc support where needed. You will not only get insights into what business control activities comprises, but also get insights how we brew and distribute our portfolio. Additionally, you will also develop your skills in a multinational company, with exposure to different stakeholders.

This will involve:

Support in improving reporting and finance processes

Financial analysis and reconciliation

Support business & financial control in daily operations

Support in our sustainability journey

Qualification and Requirements

For this role, we are looking for a candidate who has a willingness to learn and develop their skills and capabilities across finance and accounting.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field

Requirements:

• Aspiring Financial Analyst with great analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities
• Eager to learn and takes initiative- great agility with proactive approach.
• Basic understanding of financial planning processes including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Exceptional team player
• Good communciation and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Detailed oriented individual with ability to work independently and within a team envirnoment.
• Ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment
• Proficient user of Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Power BI would be a distinct advantage
