Food Production Worker - Flexible Part Time

About the Company
We are a growing Ontario-based food production company focused on transforming agricultural by-products into high-quality products such as bone broth, beef tallow, and specialty ingredients. Our goal is to reduce waste in the food system while creating high-quality natural products.

We are expanding our small-scale processing operations and are looking for reliable, hands-on team members to join our production team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food processing tasks including preparation of raw materials
• Help operate or assist with cooking kettles and basic food processing equipment
• Package products into tubs, containers, and pouches
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas according to food safety standards
• Assist with receiving and organizing incoming materials
• Follow safety and hygiene procedures in a food production environment
• Support general production tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in food production, kitchen work, or manufacturing is an asset but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working around cooking equipment and food ingredients
• Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work independently and follow instructions

Schedule

• Flexible schedule
• Employees can choose a morning, afternoon, or evening shift
• Minimum commitment of 3 days per week
• Additional hours available depending on production needs
