Job Description:
At Naylor Love, a Foreman (often called Foreperson) is a hands-on site leader responsible for day-to-day construction activity on commercial building projects.
Key responsibilities:
Supervise and lead tradespeople and subcontractors on-site
Plan and coordinate daily construction work activities
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
Maintain strict Health & Safety compliance (NZ regulations)
Read and interpret construction drawings and plans
Coordinate materials, equipment, and site logistics
Solve on-site issues and support smooth workflow
Report progress to Site Managers and Project Managers
Skills and Requirements:
Trade qualification (usually carpentry or building)
Experience leading construction crews
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to manage subcontractors and site coordination
Strong focus on safety and quality standards
Pay: From $5,800.00 per month
