Guest Services Representative – JLL

What this job involves:

The Guest Services Représentatives serves as the welcoming face of our retail centre, delivering exceptional customer experiences through professional, courteous, and efficient interactions with shoppers and retailers. This role is essential to JLL's commitment to creating vibrant, customer-focused environments where both visitors and retail partners thrive. You will be the go-to resource for centre information, services, and support, ensuring every guest interaction reflects our dedication to excellence and hospitality.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact at the Guest Services kiosk, providing directions, information, and personalized recommendations based on current store offerings and promotions

  • Deliver proactive, professional customer service by maintaining comprehensive knowledge of centre services, amenities, stores, and ongoing promotional activities

  • Process gift card sales and complete accurate end-of-day transactions while maintaining detailed records

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with retail partners, promoting centre services and facilitating clear communication between management and tenants

  • Assist the Marketing Department with promotional activities, special events, and community engagement initiatives

  • Follow Crisis Management Manual protocols and departmental procedures to ensure safety and operational compliance

  • Complete special projects and additional assignments as directed by management

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Demonstrated customer service experience in a retail, hospitality, or public-facing environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders

  • Strong multitasking abilities with proven success working in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism and accuracy

  • Above-average computer proficiency and ability to operate point-of-sale and customer service technology systems

  • Conflict resolution skills with a solution-focused, approachable demeanor

  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by centre operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multilingual capabilities to serve diverse customer populations

  • Previous experience in shopping centre or retail property management environments

  • Familiarity with gift card processing systems and cash handling procedures

  • Knowledge of local area attractions, dining, and services to enhance guest recommendations

  • Experience supporting marketing or promotional events

Estimated compensation for this position:

2,058,420.00 – 20,584.20 CAD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
