Hgv Artic Driver

Due to increased workflow and new contracts we are looking for drivers to join our team.

Role involves a mixture of curtainsider and container work.

Some overnights required with overnight allowances paid. (Average of one a week or every two weeks)

Role is predominantly Monday to Friday with occasional Sunday evening starts

Key responsibilities of an Artic Driver include:

Knowledge, skills and attributes required to become an Artic Driver in our company:-

- Hold a current full driving licence, category C+E licence.

- The job role requires you to maintain the highest standards of customer service.

- Have good communication skills with both Customers and members of the public.

- You will need to portray a positive image while dealing with customers and ensure you observe the company values.

- You must be organized in approach and able to schedule work and meet deadlines.

- Have a good working knowledge of appropriate geographical areas is required.

- Smart appearance is essential.

- Flexibility of working hours is required.

- Driver will be assigned their own truck and must keep it in good condition

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

- Full clean C+E License required

- Up to date CPC’s completed

- A digital Tachograph card

- Have knowledge of tachographs and EU driving regulations

- Manual Handling - training will be given

The candidate will need to be available for an immediate start. This is essential.
