High School Tutor Part Time

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time High School Tutor to inspire and support students in achieving their academic goals. This energetic role involves working closely with one incoming high school student to enhance their understanding of core subjects, develop effective study habits, and foster a love for learning. As a tutor, you will create engaging lesson plans tailored to individual needs, utilize innovative learning technology, and promote a positive classroom environment. Responsibilities

• 2 hours a week to start. Any time the tutor prefers.
• Deliver personalized tutoring sessions across various high school subjects, including math, science, English, and social studies
• Develop and implement customized lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student learning objectives
• Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance engagement and comprehension during lessons
• Foster a supportive and motivating environment that encourages student participation and confidence
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring each student receives individual attention and guidance
• Communicate regularly with students and parents about progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement
• Assist in preparing students for exams, standardized tests, and academic assessments
