Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Hospitality Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations at our family-owned, high-end gourmet takeout and pizza restaurant. You will oversee order fulfillment, manage our Square POS system, and mentor a small, dedicated service team. The ideal candidate balances operational efficiency with the warmth and flexibility required to thrive in a passionate, family-run business.

Core Responsibilities

Guest Experience: Ensure all takeout, pickup, and catering orders are accurate, beautifully packaged, and delivered with genuine warmth. Swiftly resolve guest feedback.

Operational Flow: Manage the Square POS system, digital menu updates, and online ordering. Coordinate with the kitchen to manage ticket times and eliminate peak-hour bottlenecks.

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and schedule counter staff. Lead by example by working the floor and expo line alongside the team during busy rushes.

Admin & Inventory: Track front-of-house supplies (packaging, bags, utensils) and assist ownership with basic labor tracking and scheduling optimization.

Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant, premium fast-casual, or takeout-focused operation.

Tech Savvy: Direct experience with Square POS and online ordering platforms is highly preferred.

Mindset: A supportive, "no task is too small" attitude. You prefer coaching on the floor over sitting in an office.

Compliance: Strong knowledge of local food safety regulations; ServSafe Manager certification preferred.
