Internal Flows & Analytics
Background:
Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for passengers in the aircraft cabin is a fundamental aspect
of aviation that includes both ventilation aspects and air quality aspects and is one of the main functions of Air
Systems. Air Systems incorporates the electro-mechanical systems i.e. Air Systems (ATA 21) and Bleed
System (ATA36), which is divided into several subsystems.
Role:
The Job Holder will act as a Data Analyst on Air System applications with the task to provide safe and
balanced designs in face of opposing interests and multiple, sometimes conflicting constraints, like
Performance, Cost, Environmental, Industrial and Operational Requirements.
She/He is playing a key role in developing machine learning and deep learning based classification and
regression models and analytics dashboards to analyze aircraft Air-systems operational reliability and build
predictive and prescriptive models that assist in inflight decision-making. He needs to provide a link between
the Air Systems and other groups at Airbus that perform Data Analytics, Predictive Maintenance and gather
data from Airbus data bases/tools (Skywise / Palantir), to create intelligence.
