Junior Cafe All Rounder - Weekend Shifts

Join our warm, family-run Italian bakery café in the lovely residential area of Smithfield. We’re looking for a junior café all-rounder to join our team on weekends — perfect for someone still at school who wants a weekend job.

About the Role
Casual junior position
Weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday)
Shifts vary week to week depending on how busy we are

You’ll be working in a fast-paced café environment, helping with a bit of everything and serving our wonderful local customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Serving customers with friendly and efficient service
• Using the POS system to take orders and process payments
• Serving food and helping maintain the display cabinets
• Assisting with coffee service
• Clearing and wiping tables
• Washing dishes and helping keep the café clean
• Restocking items and helping with general café tasks
• Supporting the team during busy service times

What We’re Looking For

• Hospitality experience preferred
• Comfortable serving customers and using a POS system
• Friendly, polite and confident with people
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work well in a busy environment
• A team player who’s happy to help wherever needed

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $24.95 – $31.19 per hour
