Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and proactive **L2 Cloud & Infrastructure Support Engineer** to support AWS cloud infrastructure, Windows Server environments, networking, and core IT services. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with AWS administration, and the ability to support business-critical infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide Level 2 support for AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
Manage and support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, firewall, and VPN-related issues.
Monitor system performance, availability, backups, and security compliance.
Support incident, problem, and change management activities.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth infrastructure operations.
Perform regular health checks and assist in preventive maintenance activities.
Document technical issues, resolutions, configurations, and operational procedures.
Required Skills and Experience
Hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Administration, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and CloudWatch.
Strong experience in Windows Server Administration and Active Directory support.
Good understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, and firewall troubleshooting.
Experience in monitoring, backup, and security compliance activities.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and external vendors.
Ability to handle incidents, service requests, and change activities in a structured manner.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ITIL-based support processes.
Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell or automation tools.
Exposure to cloud security, backup tools, and monitoring platforms.
AWS certification will be an added advantage.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The role requires someone who can troubleshoot infrastructure issues efficiently, communicate clearly, and ensure high availability of systems and services.
