Landscape Crew Leader (Maintenance And Projects)

Job Description:

Thomas Lawn Care is hiring a reliable and experienced Landscape Crew Leader to run a project truck and lead a small crew handling both maintenance routes and landscaping projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role. Some days will be maintenance focused and others will be project based. You will be responsible for leading your crew, driving the truck, and making sure all work is completed efficiently and at a high level.

This position also has strong growth potential. We are currently operating 5 trucks and are looking to double in size over the next 12 to 18 months. The right candidate has the opportunity to grow beyond leading one truck into managing multiple crews and helping lead the expansion of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a crew of 2 to 3 team members
• Drive and manage a company truck and equipment
• Perform and oversee maintenance work such as mowing, trimming, blowing, and property upkeep
• Perform and oversee project work including planting, mulch, sod, and cleanups
• Ensure all jobs are completed on time and done right
• Keep track of tools, materials, and daily job needs
• Communicate with management, crew members, and occasionally with clients

Requirements:

Landscaping experience REQUIRED (maintenance and or install)

• Crew leader experience preferred
• Must be dependable and able to work without supervision
• Valid driver’s license REQUIRED
• Must be able to communicate clearly in both English and Spanish
• Ability to work outdoors in all conditions
• Strong work ethic and leadership mindset
