Lead Cleaning Technician / House Cleaner

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Lead Cleaning Technician to oversee our cleaning operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained. The Lead Cleaning Technician will be responsible for supervising cleaning staff, conducting quality checks, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. We're also looking for someone with past experience implementing training and QC practices. Must Drive. Must be proficient in English.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and train cleaning staff to ensure tasks are performed to the highest standards
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas are clean, sanitized, and organized according to company standards
• Assign tasks to cleaning staff and ensure all assignments are completed in a timely manner
• Perform cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and washing windows as needed
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, restock supplies, and ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including sinks, countertops, appliances, and refrigerators
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
• Notify management of any damages, deficits, or disturbances observed during cleaning
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Adhere to the company’s quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, with at least 6 years in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness
• Excellent time management skills
• Physical stamina and mobility
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in cleaning or housekeeping is a plus
• Driver’s license and ability to drive to and from locations
• Knowledge of green certifications (Green Seal, Safer Choice, etc)
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment is an advantage
• Knowledge of safety protocols for various surfaces and materials
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written)
