Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves assessing patients' needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic massage services to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs and health conditions.
• Develop customized treatment plans based on patient assessments and preferences.
• Perform various types of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities as needed.
• Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and maintain patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy.

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assess patient needs.
• Proficiency in pain management techniques and occupational health principles.
• Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
• Ability to perform trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service and satisfaction.
• Familiarity with med spa environments is a plus but not required.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.
