We are a Korean-owned meat processing company, proudly supplying high-quality meat products to the Korean American community for over 10 years. As our operations and customer base continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics Scheduling Assistant to help coordinate daily deliveries, support our logistics team, and ensure customers receive accurate and timely updates.
The Logistics Scheduling Assistant supports day-to-day delivery coordination by scheduling shipments, organizing delivery routes, communicating with trucking partners, updating customers, and maintaining accurate logistics records. This role helps ensure that orders are delivered on time and that clients and internal teams stay aligned with daily schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule daily delivery appointments and coordinate shipment times with customers, drivers, and logistics partners.
- Confirm pickup and drop-off windows with retailers, distributors, restaurants, and Korean market clients.
- Monitor delivery timelines and send updates or changes to customers in a timely manner.
- Support route planning by organizing delivery lists, prioritizing urgent orders, and ensuring accurate driver instructions.
- Track delivery progress and follow up on late, delayed, or rescheduled shipments.
- Maintain daily logs of deliveries, driver activities, delivery confirmations, and returned goods.
- Communicate with trucking companies and third-party carriers regarding load availability, pickup times, and shipment requirements.
- Update internal spreadsheets, calendars, and logistics software with accurate delivery data.
- Assist the logistics team with preparing simple reports, delivery summaries, and order status updates.
- Collaborate with customer service to resolve delivery issues, missing items, or order discrepancies.
- Ensure smooth communication between logistics, warehouse staff, and office operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Ability to manage scheduling tasks for multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, calendars, and cloud-based communication tools.
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve in a remote setting.
- Reliable, professional, and able to remain calm when coordinating time-sensitive deliveries.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
