Mobile Security Officer

Job Description

Accure Security is a licensed private security company based in Cambridge, Ontario, providing mobile patrol, alarm response, and guarding services across the province. We are hiring multiple On-Call Mobile Security Officers to respond to alarm calls dispatched through our dispatch centre app in the Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Guelph areas.

This is an ideal role for licensed guards looking to supplement their income. When notified through the dispatch centre app, you accept the call when available, drive your own vehicle to the alarm site, conduct a premises check, and submit an incident report through the app.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to alarm calls when notified through the dispatch centre app
• Conduct exterior/interior premises checks following standard operating procedures
• Assess and secure the site; escalate to police, fire, or EMS when required
• Complete accurate, detailed incident reports (mobile app based) with photos
• Communicate clearly with the dispatch centre, clients, and emergency services
• Remain calm, vigilant, and professional under pressure

Requirements (Must-Haves)

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (in good standing)
• Valid G2 or G driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Own reliable vehicle with valid insurance
• Available for on-call shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends
• Smartphone with data plan (for the dispatch centre app and incident reporting)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Legally entitled to work in Canada

Assets (Nice-to-Haves)

• Prior mobile patrol, alarm response, or law enforcement/military experience
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• Familiarity with the Cambridge / Kitchener-Waterloo / Guelph area
