Monumental Headstone Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Monumental Headstone Fitter to join our team. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of headstones and memorials in cemeteries and private sites. The ideal candidate will take pride in craftsmanship, work with care and respect in sensitive environments, and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and fix headstones, memorials, and related stonework
• Prepare foundations and ensure accurate alignment and leveling
• Carry out repairs, cleaning, and restoration of existing memorials
• Operate tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Follow cemetery regulations and health & safety guidelines
• Liaise respectfully with clients, colleagues, and site authorities

Requirements

• Previous experience in stone fitting, construction, masonry or a similar trade preferred
• Strong practical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Full, clean driving licence
• Good communication skills and a respectful, professional attitude
