Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with a focus on improving activities of daily living, functional mobility, and overall independence. This role primarily serves adult and geriatric populations within the Celebration area.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide skilled OT services focused on ADLs, safety, and functional independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on home safety, adaptive equipment, and fall prevention
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, and physicians to ensure coordinated care
• Document all visits accurately and in a timely manner using WebPT
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical judgment

Requirements

• Active Florida Occupational Therapist license
• Experience with the geriatric population preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Comfortable working in both in-home and outpatient settings
• Ability to work independently while staying connected with the team
