Office Manager

TPS Products, an industrial equipment distributor, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Office Manager to join our team. This full-time role is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and takes pride in supporting smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Excellent Customer Service through effective phone and email communication. This includes answering the phone in a friendly manner, ensuring billing is correct and timely, working with various customer departments to ensure smooth transaction, and getting orders out quickly.
  • Backoffice Operational Excellence - Oversee daily office operations including inventory, organization, and scheduling. Follow and improve efficient back office processes for billing, product ordering, inventory management, a/r.
  • Administrative Support: Assist expense control, document filing, and data entry; support leadership with various administrative tasks.
  • Vendor & Contractor Liaison: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure customer orders are fulfilled in a timely manner and inventory levels are where they need to be.
  • Teamwork - We are a small company and you will work hand in hand with all members of the team in an effort to wow our customers. Roll out new processes to team, communicate effectively, work with Operations leader to make the business as efficient as possible.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in office management, administrative support, or a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); Proficient in QuickBooks Online. Basic accounting knowledge is preferred.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Organization: Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Adaptability: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependability: A self-starter who is reliable, punctual, and able to work independently, and is always looking to take on new tasks.

Physical Requirement:

  • Must be able to lift 40-50 lb multiple times throughout the day.
  • This is an in office position.
