Orthodontic Assistant

We are a boutique orthodontic practice dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care in a warm and welcoming environment. We take pride in building lasting relationships with our patients and creating beautiful, confident smiles.

Position Overview

We are looking for a friendly, dependable Orthodontic Assistant to join our close-knit team. In this role, you will work directly with the orthodontist to deliver exceptional patient care, support clinical procedures, and help create a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and orthodontic procedures.
  • Prepare treatment areas and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
  • Take X-rays, digital scans, and patient records as needed.
  • Educate patients on treatment progress, oral hygiene, and appliance care.
  • Ensure patient comfort and provide a welcoming, supportive experience.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow HIPAA and infection control protocols.
  • Assist with scheduling, patient communication, and other office tasks as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred, but we are happy to train the right person.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with patients of all ages.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-focused, patient-centered environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
