Part-Time Office Assistant / Customer Support & Shipping (In-Person)

Location: Jenison, MI
Job Type: Part-Time (Up to 20 hours/week)
Schedule: Weekday hours (flexible within business needs)
Work Setting: In-office only (no remote work)

Position Summary

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on team member to support daily operations across customer service, shipping, and light production.

This is a part-time, in-person role for someone who likes staying busy, working with a small team, and helping keep things running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Answer customer phone calls and assist with basic questions
• Respond to emails and occasional live chat
• Pack and ship orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist with light production and product preparation
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and functional
• Support the team wherever needed

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable and shows up consistently
• Comfortable communicating with customers (phone + email)
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Willing to learn and follow simple processes
• Able to handle a variety of tasks throughout the day
• Works well independently and with a team

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Customer service experience
• Shipping or order fulfillment experience
• Basic computer skills (email, order systems, etc.)

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

• Standing and moving throughout the workspace
• Lifting and moving packages (typically up to 25–30 lbs)
• Performing repetitive tasks such as packing and labeling orders
• Working at a desk and using a computer for portions of the day

Candidates must be able to perform these essential functions in a consistent and reliable manner.

Work Environment

• In-office role in a small team setting
• Combination of desk work, shipping/fulfillment activity, and light production support
• Fast-moving environment with shifting priorities at times
