Yo-Chi are looking for a People Partner who wants to do the actual work: writing scripts for difficult conversations, owning investigations end-to-end, locking in performance catch-ups, and coaching our venue and operations leaders on all things employee relations.

Reporting to the Head of Talent, you'll support our venue teams and operations leaders across a broad range of people matters. You bring solid ER experience, a sound grasp of the Fast Food Industry Award, and you're not afraid to get stuck in.

What you'll actually be doing:

    Writing scripts and templates for performance conversations and formal meetings so our leaders are prepared and consistent

    Managing and progressing workplace investigations - taking statements, reviewing evidence, drafting outcome letters

    Scheduling and locking in performance catch-ups and PIPs with operational leaders, keeping things moving and documented

    Coaching venue managers and ops leaders on employee relations best practice, Fair Work obligations, and how to handle people matters on the floor

    Providing advice on the Fast Food Industry Award, employment contracts, and relevant legislation

    Supporting disciplinary processes, grievances, and conduct matters end-to-end

    Maintaining accurate case notes, documentation, and records across all people matters

    Assisting with day-to-day queries across the employee lifecycle

    Helping improve templates, processes, and tools as we grow

What we're looking for:

    2–4 years' experience in an HR Advisor, People Partner, or ER-focused role

    Solid working knowledge of the Fast Food Industry Award and Australian employment legislation (Fair Work Act, NES)

    Hands-on experience managing ER matters - you've written scripts, run investigations, and issued outcome letters before

    Background in QSR, hospitality, retail, or a multi-site operational environment is a bonus

    Organised, detail-oriented, and good at keeping matters progressing without things slipping

    Strong written communication - you can draft a script or investigation reports that's clear and defensible
