Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant educational community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our students, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
  • Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, providing individualized support as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively using appropriate behavior management techniques.
  • Teach physical education activities that promote physical health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and developmental milestones.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children in a childcare or classroom setting is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of child welfare practices and early childhood development principles.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity.
  • Experience in tutoring or providing additional support to children as needed is a plus.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred but not required upon hiring.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
