Production Manager

As the Production Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end manufacturing operations of our facility. You will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating production activities to meet business goals, optimize operational efficiency, control costs, and maintain high standards of safety and quality. This role requires a strong leader who can translate executive vision into daily plant performance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Plant Operations: Direct and oversee all daily manufacturing activities, ensuring the facility hits quarterly and annual production targets smoothly.
• Cost & Budget Management: Develop, manage, and optimize the production budget. Identify and execute cost-reduction initiatives without compromising product quality.
• Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing: Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies to minimize waste, eliminate manufacturing bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization.
• Capacity Planning: Coordinate with Supply Chain, Inventory, and Warehouse departments to manage material requirements, resource forecasting, and capacity planning for the plant.
• Leadership & Culture: Manage, mentor, and evaluate Production Supervisors and team leaders. Build a high-performing team aligned with MagnaPrime's purpose-driven culture.
• Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict plant-wide compliance with cGMP, DOLE safety standards, environmental regulations, and corporate policies.
• High-Level Reporting: Track, analyze, and present key performance indicators (KPIs)—such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), yield, and downtime—to senior executives and directors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or any related technical/management field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing or plant operations setting. (Experience in construction chemicals, coatings, adhesives, or FMCG is highly preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and plant maintenance.
• Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement programs.
• Strong familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced production planning tools.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding leadership, negotiation, communication, and crisis-management skills.
• Work Location: Must be willing to work fully on-site at our manufacturing plant in Santa Maria, Bulacan.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
