Production Operator

We are a leading Manufacturing Company located in South Galway seeking Production Operators to join our expanding team. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential. We are seeking individuals who have the ability to operate production machinery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Operate woodworking machines including CNC machines

· Take precision measurements to ensure product is to specification

· Maintain tools and equipment

· Maximise output by operating efficiently and minimising waste.

· Report all mechanical issues and defect parts

· Adhere to health and safety guidelines

· Adhere to daily schedule to deliver on KPI’s

· Keep work area clean and tidy

· Work as part of a team to ensure flow of units through the production process

· Flexible to work in all areas of production

Essential Criteria:

· Previous experience working on machines within a Manufacturing Environment

· Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication

· “Can do” attitude - hands on approach to work

· Positive work ethic with excellent attention to detail

· Proficient IT Skills (MS Excel, Word etc.)

· Keen understanding of the importance of Safety, Quality, and on-time delivery

· Strong communicator with a high degree of initiative

· Flexibility - available to work overtime when required

· A results driven & quality conscious individual
