POSITION / ROLE SUMMARY As a Risk and Compliance Manager focusing on ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) Assessments, you play a key role in strengthening the organization’s control environment and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. You lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of ICFR assessments by identifying key risks, evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of controls, and driving timely remediation of control gaps.
REPORTING The RM and Compliance Manager will directly report to the Senior Manager for Risk and Compliance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of ICFR assessments
- Identify key financial reporting risks and evaluate control design and effectiveness
- Perform control testing and document results in line with standards
- Identify control gaps and drive timely remediation with stakeholders
- Monitor and track remediation progress to closure
- Partner with process owners to document and improve controls
- Provide advisory support on control design and compliance requirements
- Ensure alignment with COSO framework and regulatory expectations
- Prepare clear reports and communicate ICFR findings and insights to senior management to support informed decision-making
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Educational Background Graduate of BS Accountancy
Essential Requirements
- Strong experience in assessing control design and operating effectiveness over financial reporting
- Solid knowledge of COSO framework and internal control principles
- Background in external or internal audit, with exposure to financial reporting processes
- Proven ability to identify control gaps and drive remediation with stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, particularly in presenting findings to management
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in ICFR engagements
Other capabilities
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and building stakeholder relationships
- Ability to translate technical control issues into clear business insights
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Familiarity with GRC tools and data analytics is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
