Seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Field Supervisor (Per Diem) - Baltimore Area

Company Overview:

We are a licensed home care agency providing personal care and homemaker services to seniors in Baltimore City.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Field Supervisor on a per diem basis. This role is responsible for conducting supervisory visits, performing client assessments, overseeing caregiver performance, and ensuring quality and compliance in home-based care.

This is a flexible, field-based position ideal for an RN with home care experience who prefers a non-traditional schedule.

Compensation (Per Diem – Task-Based):

• Supervisory Visit (90-day): $70 per visit
• Initial Assessment (new client): $85 per visit
• Care Plan Development/Update: $35 per plan
• Emergency / Urgent Visit: $100 per visit

Additional Details:

• All-inclusive compensation (travel and documentation included)
• This is a per-visit role (not hourly)
• Flexible scheduling based on availability

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-home supervisory visits (every 90 days)
• Perform initial client assessments and develop care plans
• Monitor and evaluate caregiver (CNA/PCA) performance
• Identify and report changes in client condition
• Ensure compliance with agency policies and regulations
• Investigate and document incidents (complaints, concerns, etc.)
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation (within 24 hours)
• Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and families

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Maryland
• Minimum 1–2 years of home care experience preferred
• Experience supervising caregivers (CNAs/PCAs) preferred
• Strong assessment and documentation skills
• Knowledge of home care regulations and compliance
• Reliable transportation (required for field visits)
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

• Per diem / as-needed
• Flexible scheduling
• Must be available for occasional urgent visits
