This role would not suit someone enrolled in a college course as it is day shifts (BETWEEN 8:30-4:30) Monday - Friday only. No weekend work as we do not open on weekends.

Cafe/restaurant experience essential.

Ruairi’s Kitchen is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced Sandwich Maker / Deli Assistant / Food Prep Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a daytime role (no late nights), ideal for someone who enjoys working with fresh ingredients in a busy café/deli environment.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and assemble fresh sandwiches, salads, and deli items to a high standard
• Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen duties
• Provide excellent customer service at the deli counter and café
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed at all times
• Keep the work area clean, organised, and well-stocked
• Support the team during busy service periods

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a kitchen, deli, café, or food preparation role (essential)
• A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality presentation
• Enthusiasm for great food and customer service
• Availability for regular daytime hours — this position is best suited to candidates seeking a stable, long-term role
• Coffee experience great but not essential
