A2A Security is seeking highly motivated, vigilant, and proactive individuals to become our next Security Guard/Bouncer. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone at a high-profile bar during night shifts (7 PM to 3 AM).

What You’ll Do

• Maintain Order and Safety: Monitor the premises to prevent disturbances and ensure compliance with bar policies and regulations.
• Crowd Control: Manage guest entry, verify IDs, and ensure capacity limits are respected.
• Incident Response: Address altercations and emergencies calmly and professionally, de-escalating conflicts when necessary.
• Enforce Bar Policies: Handle situations involving intoxicated individuals responsibly, ensuring they leave the premises safely if needed.
• Visible Presence: Serve as a professional, approachable security figure to enhance customer comfort and safety.
• Collaboration: Work closely with bar staff and management to create a secure, welcoming atmosphere.

• Experience in security, crowd control, or nightlife settings (preferred but not required).
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Security: 2 years (required)
• Bar: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Security Guard Licence (required)

Work Location: In person
