Skilled Construction Laborer (Experience Essential)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Construction Labourer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of construction tasks while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation and clean-up
• Load and unload construction materials
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.)
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials as required
• Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all workplace health and safety regulations
• Perform general labour duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous construction labour experience (2+ years preferred)
• Ability to use common hand and power tools
• Strong understanding of construction safety procedures
• Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Relevant certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Working at Heights, First Aid) are an asset

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: €16.70-€21.76 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
