Skilled Labourer

Job Duties

• Perform general construction activities including repairs, demolition and general cleaning as need
• Climb heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints
• Cut, measure and install job related materials as per scope of work
• Safely uses hand and power tools
• Participate in man lift, harness, and tool inspections and onsite safety meetings
• Maintain equipment
• Provide excellent customer service
• Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
• Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns
• Ensure safety of fellow employees
• Carpentry and/or Cladding experience an asset
• All other duties as required

Physical Demands

• Lifting requirements 50 lbs. plus
• Access and mobility in tight spaces
• Working at heights
• Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling

Qualifications

• Forklift, fall arrest, and lift certification considered an asset
• Previous labor experience required
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and own transportation
• Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be dependable
• Periodic travel may be required
• Pay based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
