Solution Architect (Senior) – Dublin 1

Role in Brief:

This position is within the IT division, where the Senior Solution Architect will drive solution design activities and ensure alignment with architectural strategy and project goals. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, other architects, and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions. This hybrid role requires 50% onsite presence in Dublin 1, start date of April 2025.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30
Location: Hybrid (50% onsite in Dublin 1)
Contract Duration: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solution design activities, collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors to shape and deliver technical solutions aligned with project plans and architectural strategy.
• Produce high-quality solution designs and documentation, ensuring compliance with architectural principles, security standards, and service delivery requirements.
• Conduct due diligence to identify preferred solutions, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and technical standards.
• Support the preparation of functional requirements and lead the definition of non-functional requirements, guiding stakeholders in framing and prioritization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, third-party suppliers, and key stakeholders to influence solution design and delivery.
• Provide key input for project plans, including work effort estimation and risk management.

Minimum Requirements:

• 7+ years’ experience in solution architecture, delivering complex technical solutions in challenging environments with tight deadlines.
• Proven track record of successful solution design and delivery, ensuring alignment with business requirements and architectural strategy.
• Strong interpersonal and senior stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to audiences up to C-level management.
• Extensive experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, MS SQL Server, MS Dynamics 365, and Angular.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform services, including cloud-native solution design, hybrid cloud architecture, and cloud migration strategies.
• High proficiency in English (verbal and written); a C2 certification may be required for non-native speakers.
• Relevant qualifications: A diploma or degree in IT is preferred.
