Sushi Chef

Maki Sushi Rolls is seeking an experienced sushi chef to join the team in Cork.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high quality fresh sushi and other Japanese and Hawiian Inspired dishes, maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and quality standards. Duties include preparing sushi rice, preparing raw fish, seafoods and vegetable, assembling fresh sushi and poke, preparing ingredients and sauces, monitoring stock levels, following HACCP procedures, maintaining a clean and organised preparation kitchen, assisting in menu development, train9ing junior staff where required and supporting the daily operation of the business.

Pay: €17.60 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cork, County Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• sushi chef: 3 years (required)

Language:

• English (required)
