What Will You Do?
As a Telesales Agent, you will be responsible for selling one of WEX Inc.'s fuel card brands. You will convince potential customers of the (added) value of our fuel card by introducing them to our products, services, and organization.
By actively listening and asking the right questions, you will help customers realize that their business needs this fuel card. Your ability to demonstrate in-depth market knowledge, customer understanding, and product expertise—right from the first interaction—will be crucial.
What Skills and Experience Are Required?
- Minimum MBO-level education (Intermediate Vocational Education).
- Experience in telephone sales is a plus.
- Proven track record of working towards and achieving sales goals.
- Experience working with targets in a telephone-based environment.
- Strong team player with a commercial mindset, proactive attitude, reliability, and confidence.
- Ability to quickly build trust with customers.
- Proficiency in Excel with strong data analysis skills. Familiarity with other Microsoft tools and Google applications is a plus.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
- Ability to meet financial targets by identifying and acquiring new customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including calls, presentations, closed deals, and follow-ups, in line with customer engagement processes.
- Efficient planning skills with the ability to stay focused on personal and team goals.
- Professional approach to handling unexpected challenges, pricing inquiries, and objections.
- Keep up with industry trends, including competitor landscape knowledge.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation skills to create win-win scenarios with clients.
