Truck Driver - Class 1

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight across various routes. Duties

• Safely operate trucks for local or long-distance freight deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
• Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure proper functioning and perform basic maintenance or repairs as needed
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and compliance with company policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
• Experience
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Prior experience in commercial driving or freight transportation preferred
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to freight handling and vehicle operation
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle maintenance
