Toca Tapioca House is a busy and growing café and restaurant in the heart of Temple Bar, serving authentic Brazilian tapioca, premium açaí, specialty coffee, fresh food, and warm, genuine hospitality.

We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly people who understand that great hospitality is about more than simply serving food and drinks. It's about making people feel welcome, creating memorable experiences, and building relationships with regular customers.

Coffee is an important part of our business, so if you have an interest in coffee, that's a bonus. If not, don't worry — full barista training will be provided.

The Role

As a member of our waiting staff and barista team, you will help create a welcoming atmosphere where customers feel valued and enjoy every visit.

You'll be involved in taking orders, serving food and drinks, preparing coffees, maintaining cleanliness, and working closely with the team to ensure excellent service throughout the day.

This is a hands-on role where attitude and personality matter just as much as experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesHospitality & Guest Experience

• Deliver friendly and professional customer service at all times
• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Build relationships with regular customers
• Ensure every customer leaves with a positive experience
• Help maintain the high standards that Toca Tapioca House is known for

Food & Beverage Service

• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Serve food and drinks with attention to detail
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation throughout the café
• Support the team during busy periods

Coffee Preparation

• Prepare coffees and other drinks to company standards
• Learn specialty coffee techniques and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station
• Ensure consistency and quality in every drink served

Operations

• Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Help maintain stock and supplies
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
