This is a new position. We are rebranding our cafe drinks to match our event companies design & artistic flare. We are looking for someone who desires the same artistic excellence with all food & drinks.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, specialty beverages, and barista-crafted items with precision and flair
• Mix and serve alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments efficiently using Clover POS.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, bar station, and dining space to ensure food safety standards are met
• Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling with accuracy using retail math skills
• Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks to support quick service during busy hours when necessary
• Uphold food safety practices, including proper food handling, sanitation procedures, and adherence to health regulations

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista or bartender in a café or food service environment with strong coffee knowledge
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
