CNO’s Alternative Investment Analysis Internship program is designed to introduce college students to the application of investment skills at the registered investment subsidiary of CNO Financial Group.

The Alternative Investment Analysis Intern will make an impact by

• Identifying alternative investment opportunities (e.g. private credit, co-investments, fund investments) through company analysis and building financial models
• Preparing presentations to communicate strategic rationale
• Participating in meetings with Fund managers and Corporate management teams
• Assisting with alternative investments from pitch to close under the guidance of senior leadership
• Participating in ad hoc projects requested by the alternative investment team

This is a paid internship, at $21/hour. The Memorial Day and 4th of July holidays are paid days off.

Qualified candidates for an Alternative Investment Analyst Intern position will have:

• Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, general business, or a related discipline
• Status as a rising junior or rising senior, approx. graduation dates of Dec 2024 – June 2026
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10-12 weeks during the summer
• Must have housing available within a commutable distance to Carmel, IN. No housing support is provided.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite of products
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Foundational analytical, critical-thinking, and reasoning skills

To be eligible for consideration, candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Please note that the Company does not intend to sponsor work visas with respect to these positions or to provide these positions as OPT or CPT.

This internship will be performed from our Carmel, IN corporate office.
