Barista / Service Crew – French Café (Greenhills, San Juan)

We are currently hiring a Barista / Service Crew for a French café located in Greenhills Mall, San Juan City. This role is ideal for someone with café experience who is comfortable handling both beverage preparation and front-of-house service.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, and other beverages with consistency and accuracy
• Maintain quality, taste, and presentation standards
• Take customer orders, serve food and beverages, and assist guests in the dining area
• Provide attentive, professional, and friendly customer service
• Keep both the coffee/bar station and dining area clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and coordinate servicing when needed
• Assist with daily prep work, restocking, and inventory support
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of experience as a Barista, Service Crew, or in a similar customer-facing role
• Knowledge of coffee preparation methods and espresso machine operation
• Willing and able to handle both barista duties and floor service (order taking, serving, guest assistance)
• Completion of barista training or TESDA NC II certification is an advantage
• Background in Hospitality Management, HRM, or a related field is preferred
• Familiarity with coffee bean roasting or roasting techniques is a plus
• Willing to work on-site in Greenhills, San Juan City
• Open to shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
