BlackBerryGUARD provides an active hunting solution to our customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The BlackBerryGUARD Analyst is the frontline of defence for customers of BlackBerryGUARD. As an intern within the BlackBerryGUARD team, you’ll have a curious investigative mind, an interest in information security. With this, you will contribute and support the team in reviewing BlackBerry product alerts to detect advanced threats that evade traditional security solutions as well as creating new detection capabilities to allow for proactive detection of compromised systems. You’ll take part in ensuring that new environments are set up to enable accurate and actionable reporting on identified threats. • Collaborating with team members on Threat Hunting and SOC investigations
• Create, test & deploy EDR Rules
• Analysing current and new techniques, tactics and procedures employed by Threat Actors
• Staying up to date on the latest security/threat analysis techniques and tools
• Learning and developing new skills quickly and as needed
• Protecting BlackBerry operations by keeping information confidential

Ideally, you will have:

• A keen interest in Cyber Security
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Eager to work with a global team to identify and categorize emerging threats
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Able to quickly learn and retain new skills
• Cope well under pressure

Education and/or work experience

• Current 3rd level student seeking Internship as part of course syllabus
