Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead behavioral therapy initiatives and support individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Duties
- Develop comprehensive behavioral intervention plans tailored to each individual’s needs, utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing patient assessments to determine treatment goals and progress
- Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor behavioral changes and treatment efficacy
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of interventions
- Provide direct patient care through one-on-one therapy sessions with children and individuals with disabilities, including those with autism
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards
- Educate families and staff on behavioral strategies, progress updates, and best practices for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Experience
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities in a behavioral health or special education setting
- Demonstrated expertise in behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Strong background in data collection methods, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation processes
- Familiarity with medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology related to behavioral health
- Prior experience working with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other disabilities is highly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a patient-centered approach
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required; ongoing professional development is encouraged to stay current with best practices
