Carpenter / Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and restoration projects. You will work closely with experienced tradespeople to build, install, and repair structures, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every job site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple facets of construction while making a tangible impact on our projects.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks.
• Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding work with precision and attention to detail.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing materials.
• Assist with concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, and plastering as needed.
• Conduct rebar installation, metal stud framing, and fabrication tasks to support structural integrity.
• Support restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold remediation, and general building repairs.
• Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols on construction sites.
• Assist with fixture installation, caulking, stucco application, electrical wiring, plumbing connections, and other finishing trades.
• Follow schematics and construction plans accurately while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after use.

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction sites with exposure to framing, roofing, siding or related trades is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is essential for precise execution of tasks.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery or fabrication equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of the restoration industry including water damage or mold remediation is a plus.
• Experience in remodeling projects such as flooring installation or drywall finishing will be advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently across various project types is required.
• Previous handyman experience or general construction background demonstrating versatility is beneficial.
