Cashier

JOB OVERVIEW

The role of Cashier is to ensure that the guest has a great dining experience. The cashier is expected to process guest’s order in the POS system and settle the bill accurately. The cashier should perform cashiering functions and must be able to deal with different types of transactions. The cashier is expected to be trustworthy and should have integrity because she is dealing with monetary transactions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Completes Cashiering Training and passed all required examinations.
• Sets up cashiering station according to the Cashier’s checklist.
• To be able to distinguish fake money and fraud credit cards.
• Enters guest’s order in the POS accurately. Make sure that special instructions are being noted.
• Maintains a balanced Cash Drawer. Change Fund must be intact at any point of time.
• Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change, balancing the cash register.
• Identify customer issues on their bill and resolve them immediately.
• Validates purchases in the Market if approved by Management and issues petty cash.
• Updates daily the BIR Logbooks. Make sure to log accurate data based on POS Reading.
• Prepares Daily Sales Report at the end of every shift. Completes necessary documents with complete signature required.
• Monitors all promotions and records them in the specified logbook.
• Receives and acknowledges reservations made in the landline and company reservations line.
• To assist the bartender with drinks order whenever necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least 1 year of working experience as Cashier in an upscale restaurant environment
• Excellent communication skills; must be fluent in English
• Should be highly organized and has excellent calculation skills.
• Must knowledgeable in Point of Scale System
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Must be able to start immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php20,000.00 per month
