Cashier

Pop’s Liquors is a long-standing, family-owned liquor store serving the community since 1981. We are looking for a dependable cashier to join our team for evening shifts.

Position Overview

The evening cashier is responsible for providing friendly, efficient customer service while accurately handling transactions and maintaining a clean, organized store during evening hours.

Schedule

• Evening shifts (typically 6:00 PM – close)
• Weeknight and/or weekend availability required
• Consistent, predictable schedule

Responsibilities

• Operate the register accurately and efficiently
• Verify customer age and follow all alcohol sales regulations
• Assist customers with basic product questions
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Restock shelves and face products as needed
• Perform basic closing duties

Requirements

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Comfortable working independently during slower evening hours
• Strong attention to detail and cash-handling accuracy
• Friendly, professional demeanor with customers
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Prior retail or cashier experience preferred (but not required)
