Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content Creator to develop engaging digital content that aligns with our brand strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality multimedia content, managing content across various platforms, and implementing effective content marketing strategies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our online presence and drive audience engagement through innovative storytelling and digital marketing techniques.

Scope of Services

• Content Production: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality content (video, photo, and copy) for social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and other digital platforms.
• Strategy & Trends: Stay ahead of social media trends, platform updates, and pop culture to create relevant and timely content.
• Community Engagement: Engage with our online community, responding to comments and fostering brand loyalty.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align content with upcoming campaigns, product launches, and brand goals.
• Analytics: Monitor content performance and analyze metrics to optimize future content strategies.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Performing Arts, or a related field. Graduates from McGill University or Concordia University are considered a strong plus.

Experience: Proven experience in influencer marketing, content creation, and/or digital marketing. A strong portfolio demonstrating video editing skills, visual storytelling, and creativity (please include links to social media handles or a digital portfolio).

• Experience creating content for Canadian or North American audiences.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, pop culture, and consumer behavior in Canada and the United States.
• Native-level or highly proficient English communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with international teams and brands.
• Familiarity with Canadian culture and digital media trends is considered a strong asset.

Skills:

• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or mobile editing apps like CapCut) and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable being on camera and/or directing talent.

Technical Requirements

• Reliable laptop or computer with up-to-date hardware and software capabilities. This includes a fast processor, sufficient RAM, and ample storage space for various tasks and applications.
• Preferably experienced in Adobe Photoshop, with demonstrated expertise in content creation and advertisement design.
• Preferably experienced in AI tools.
• Access to a stable, high-speed internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download/upload) with a backup mobile hotspot (LTE/5G).
• Contingency: A designated backup laptop and power station to maintain productivity during unexpected power fluctuations.

Working Schedule

• Working hours are flexible and shall be in accordance with the needs of the role.
• Regular schedule: Monday to Friday
• Dermadry reserves the right to change the shift coverage due to business needs.
• Due to the nature of the role, there may be instances where immediate assistance is needed outside the regular schedule.
