Customer Service Associate / Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to engage with customers and manage time effectively will contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering inquiries.
• Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to promote a welcoming environment.
• Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
• Assistance with basic packaging procedures from time to time

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Experience in technology sales is a plus, with the ability to conduct product demos confidently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$19.20 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
