Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Provide information about products and promotions to enhance customer experience.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and restocking shelves as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Support store management in training new staff on cash handling procedures and customer service best practices.
• Promote loyalty programs and encourage repeat business through excellent service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles, preferably in a grocery or food service environment.
• Strong cash handling skills with experience using cash registers or POS systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse clientele.
• Basic knowledge of retail math to assist with transactions and inventory management is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
