Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting complex data sets, developing actionable insights, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations utilizing Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Design and optimize databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar systems.
- Support project management activities within Agile frameworks, adhering to SDLC best practices.
- Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Create detailed documentation of data models, database design, and analysis processes using Visio or similar tools.
- Utilize VBA and Bash (Unix shell) scripting to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.
- Participate in project planning meetings, providing insights based on data analysis skills and industry best practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
- Programming expertise in R and Python for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with SDLC processes, Agile methodologies, and project management principles.
- Experience with business analysis techniques to interpret data within a business context.
- Database design skills for creating efficient data storage solutions.
- Knowledge of VBA scripting for automation tasks.
- Experience with Bash (Unix shell) scripting for system automation.
- Analytical mindset with excellent analysis skills to interpret complex datasets accurately.
