Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations utilizing Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Design and optimize databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Support project management activities within Agile frameworks, adhering to SDLC best practices.
• Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Create detailed documentation of data models, database design, and analysis processes using Visio or similar tools.
• Utilize VBA and Bash (Unix shell) scripting to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows.
• Participate in project planning meetings, providing insights based on data analysis skills and industry best practices.

Skills

• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Programming expertise in R and Python for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
• Familiarity with SDLC processes, Agile methodologies, and project management principles.
• Experience with business analysis techniques to interpret data within a business context.
• Database design skills for creating efficient data storage solutions.
• Knowledge of VBA scripting for automation tasks.
• Experience with Bash (Unix shell) scripting for system automation.
• Analytical mindset with excellent analysis skills to interpret complex datasets accurately.
